I will dominate 'serious boxer' Paul - Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
